The Challenge
Building a portfolio that stands out in a sea of generic templates is difficult. I wanted to create a space that not only showcased my work but also reflected my personality and design philosophy. The goal was to balance aesthetic appeal with high performance and accessibility.
Smart Architecture
The clean architecture allows for easy scalability. By separating concerns and utilizing modern React patterns, the codebase remains maintainable even as features grow. We implemented a custom hook architecture that manages global state without the complexity of external libraries.
Responsive by Default
I chose Next.js for its robust server-side rendering capabilities and Tailwind CSS for its utility-first approach to styling. This combination allowed me to iterate quickly while maintaining a small bundle size. Every component was designed mobile-first to ensure a seamless experience across all devices.
